National costume, 2008.

Made for an 8 year old, for an Austrian Tyrolean national dance. The blouse and petticoat are all in one, and the apron fastens on the left, signifying an unmarried girl!

Modern costume, 2008.

Made for a 7 year old, this was for a french style modern jazz number, usually worn with a beret. The skirt built into the velvet lycra catsuit made for quick changes, and a secure feeling during splits and cartwheels.

Tap costume, 2008.

Made for a 7 year old tapper, the top and sleeves of this are made in sparkly turquoise lycra with little silver dots. The back has a keyhole opening which fastens with a clip at the back of the neck. The bottom half of the costume is a bootleg catsuit in black velvet lycra.

Greek costume, 2008.

Made for an age 8 Greek solo, 'Spring Fairy', this has a built in leotard, a yellow chiffon underlayer and lemon overlayer. The dress has waterfall pleated 'wings' on the back which flow with movement, and little flowers and flowing ribbons on the bodice add interest.

Made for a 9 year old who very specifically wanted mint green, butterflies, and sparkles!
